In order to extend SCHOOL’s outreach, and to change the lives of as many senior citizens as possible, I partnered with the Delhi-based NGO, Shades of Happiness. I also conducted a fundraiser where I raised INR 50,000 in order to meet costs associated with senior citizens in their care (https://milaap.org/fundraisers/support-seniors-at-shades-of-happiness?utm_source=whatsapp&utm_medium=fundraisers-title&mlp_referrer_id=7746025). Shades of Happiness Foundation (SOHF) is a registered non-governmental organization under the Trust Act, 1882, with a youth-driven approach. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in New Delhi, the NGO is dedicated to the vision of educating, enabling, and empowering underprivileged communities to foster an inclusive society. SOHF focuses its efforts on making a positive impact on the lives of underserved communities through a variety of strategies, including Action Programs, Event Management, Camps and Meetings, Leadership Development and Training, and Counselling. The organization is also registered under 80G of IT Act, 12AA Act, and NITI Aayog, further solidifying its commitment to its mission.
